My name is Nickolas Kennison, I use he/him pronouns. I am a second-year graduate student in the Master of Social Work program at the University at Buffalo. I previously earned my B.A. in Psychology at Buffalo State University, with a certification in Childhood Advocacy. I have frequently been named to the Dean’s List and have received inductions into the honor societies of Rho Kappa, Delta Alpha Pi, Phi Kappa, and Psi Chi as recognition for academic excellence.
I previously interned with the LAB Attorneys for Children Unit, and I am excited to return for another year and continue to learn about the field and make a difference in the community.
In my free time, I like to travel, hike, and spend time with my friends and family. I also frequently volunteer with organizations like Breakthrough T1D (formerly the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) which I have been a proud member of for 18 years!
