Maddie Fecio is a first-year law student at the University at Buffalo School of Law. She completed her Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University in 2024, studying psychology with minors in law and creative writing. Maddie is a Buffalo native who is passionate about advocacy and social justice. Although her primary interest is in criminal justice reform, she also previously worked with the Center for Self Advocacy, a local nonprofit organization that provides services and support for people with disabilities. Maddie is extremely excited to be interning in the Criminal Defense Unit and hopes to become a criminal defense attorney post-graduation. In her free time, she enjoys reading, photography, and watching movies (especially scary ones) with her beloved Regal Unlimited membership.
