Ella Cohen attends the University at Buffalo, where she is majoring in Law and Sociology with a minor in Criminology. Currently a senior, she is set to graduate in May 2026. Ella has consistently demonstrated academic excellence, making the Dean’s List during both the fall and spring semesters.
She is an active member of the Sigma Delta Tau sorority, where she participates in various charitable activities. Notably, she has contributed to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, helping to raise funds and participating in the Out of the Darkness walk to raise awareness for suicide prevention.
This is Ella’s first internship, and she is eager to gain real-world experience in the legal field. She chose to intern with the Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo to explore different areas of legal practice and to learn from experienced professionals. Ella looks forward to building connections that will support her future law career.
In her free time, Ella enjoys reading, drawing, and working out at the gym. Currently, she is interning with the Civil Legal Services Unit.
