How You Can Help Insure Justice for All The Legal Aid Bureau depends in great part on private donations to underwrite the services we provide to the needy of Western New York. It should be obvious that not only do individual men, women and children suffer from the denial of legal assistance, but so does the very notion of justice itself. What may be less obvious, perhaps, is that legal-aid programs contribute to the stability and economic welfare of the larger community: Early intervention with courts and agencies can stave off issues of hunger, homelessness, abuse and ill health that can fester into social pathologies requiring much greater resources later. Even the smallest donation can help to assure access to those courts and agencies for the poorest among us. All donations are tax-deductible and tremendously appreciated.
